December 8, 2009 ā€“ The American College of Cardiologyā€™s (ACC) Door-to-Balloon (D2B) Alliance reached its goal of 75 percent of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) having D2B times within 90 minutes by 2008. Results of the study are published in the Dec. 15-22, 2009, issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

December 7, 2009 ā€“ An agreement has been struck to integrate the Veran ig4 Navigation system and GE Healthcareā€™s Innova imaging systems to aid visualization during interventional procedures.
