November 26, 2007 – At RSNA 2007, Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. introduced what is to be the world’s first dynamic volume computed tomography (CT) system, the AquilionONE, an advanced diagnostic imaging system that can image an entire organ in a single rotation or over multiple rotations, showing real-time dynamic movement.

November 21, 2007 - Ventracor announced 10 U.S. hospitals have implanted at least one VentrAssist left ventricular assist device (LVAD) as part of its U.S. clinical trials, as part of the company’s strategy to penetrate the U.S. VAD market.

November 21, 2007 - Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Inc. has signed a three-year contract by MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, a group purchasing organization, to provide Magnevist (gadopentetate dimeglumine) Injection contrast media to members of the MedAssets network.

MedAssets serves more than 125 health systems, including 2,500 hospitals and 30,000 non-acute care healthcare providers. With this agreement, Magnevist is now on contract or has agreements with nearly all of the major GPOs in the United States.

November 21, 2007 - MIV Therapeutics Inc. will sell all of its shares of SagaX Inc. for $4.0 million plus future royalties on sales of 8.0 percent, allowing MIV to focus on the interventional cardiology space and save $1.0 million plus annually in development costs.

The payments will be made in increments of $1.0 million upon the achievement of various equity financing parameters, which may be met by SagaX over a four-year period from closing.
