Electronic Health Record Offers Certified Solution for Cardiac Practices

The NextGen Electronic Health Record (EHR) offers interoperability and prebuilt clinical templates and workflow to ensure complete, accurate documentation stored in a standard format. NextGen EHR version 5.6 is a CCHIT certified 2011 ambulatory EHR, additionally certified for child health and cardiovascular medicine with advanced reporting.

Hundreds of cardiology practices use NextGen solutions, which include more than 400 cardiology-specific templates and data access via an integrated EHR and practice management system.

Disease management templates capture discrete data at the point of care to meet clinical reporting guidelines for pay for performance programs. Electronic prescribing automatically checks prescriptions against a patient’s medications and allergies. Integration with the NextGen product suite enables consistent, real-time clinical and administrative workflow among providers, hospitals, and patients. Easy clinician access to critical images and historical patient data helps enhance care and improve efficiencies.
