Health Level Releases Cardiology Data Analytics Solution for Healthcare Systems

Tool launched at major academic medical center to improve operational efficiency and outcomes

March 25, 2014 — Health Level announced the availability of Foundations Cardiology, a packaged solution that increases the speed and agility for cardiology centers by blending data from multiple applications and extending the role of the data warehouse to include real-time data analytics. The product offers a rich set of pre-configured analytics and actionable reports that blends millions of clinical, operational and financial data points.

"We are pleased with the feedback from our initial customers who are using Foundations to streamline their cardiology operations while simultaneously improving patient care and reducing cost," said Parag Paranjpe, CEO of Health Level Inc.

Foundations Cardiology provides a complete patient-centric analytical picture that enables users to identify new opportunities for improving outcomes and operational efficiency. Users can easily view comparative analytics between patient cohorts and physician practices as well as monitor diagnosis and procedure correlations.

"Synthesizing and applying healthcare data is critical to our work and allows our physicians to improve patient outcomes," said Mario Garcia, M.D., chief, division of cardiology New York, and co-director of The Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care in New York City. "We are encouraged by the tool's capabilities and aim to apply its findings to impact our efficiency and patient care."

Foundations Cardiology is available immediately to healthcare systems and integrated delivery networks worldwide.
