Minimally Invasive Laser Solution for Atrial Fibrillation

A 1064 nm wavelength laser technology, the Atrilaze Surgical Ablation system complements its existing 810 nm technology.
The system is indicated for delivery of laser light to soft tissue, including cardiac tissue, during surgical procedures. Indications include the incision, excision, dissection, vaporization, ablation or coagulation of soft tissue.
Because it can be delivered through a 600 micron optical fiber, the Atrilaze system is designed for very small incisions, potentially enabling a stand-alone (closed-chest, beating heart) procedure.
