Zetta Medical Technologies Introduces Zia Software for CT Dose Reduction

Vendor-neutral software enables use of low-dose CT protocols with automatic transfer of images to PACS

January 19, 2017 — Zetta Medical Technologies announced the release of Zia, an iterative reconstruction solution that enables the use of low-dose computed tomography (CT) protocols for CT scanners.

Zia is a vendor-neutral product and is compatible with CT equipment from the major manufacturers.  The software utilizes standard DICOM communications protocol to receive low-dose images, processes them and automatically transfers the enhanced images to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS).
