Cardiology Clinical Decision Offered With Emerge, MedAxiom Partnership

March 5, 2012 — Emerge Clinical Solutions announced its strategic relationship with MedAxiom, a comprehensive subscription-based service provider and information technology resource exclusively for cardiology practices.

Emerge's real-time clinical decision support solution helps doctors increase diagnosis efficiency and accuracy by filtering inclusive patient data through patented algorithms developed by chief medical officer William Daniel.

“It’s exciting to see the healthcare industry, especially practices, integrate the latest advances in technology that benefit both the physician and the patient. This holistic approach will help practices on multiple fronts and represents where the healthcare industry is trending,” said Chris Romeo, vice president of business development at MedAxiom.

MedAxiom currently encompasses about 325 of the leading cardiology practices in the United States. The strategic relationship was officially announced at the 2012 Cardiovascular Care Summit: Solutions for Thriving in a Time of Change, which took place Jan. 12-14 in Las Vegas. At the conference, Emerge CEO Scott Finfer spoke on “Electronic Clinical Decision Support to Improve Adherence to Guideline Recommended Therapies.”
