PTS Offers New Screening to Identify CV Disease, Diabetes

Polymer Technology Systems Inc. (PTS) announced the availability of a new PTS Panels Test Strip to test important risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
This new test strip provides readings for total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and glucose with just one drop of blood. No fasting is required and test is CLIA-waived and FDA cleared. The test is performed on a CardioChek PA, a diagnostic analyzer for medical professionals to test cholesterol and other cardiac risk factors. Another new product for the CardioChek PA, PTS’ Direct LDL Test Strips are the first CLIA-waived, point-of-care test strips that directly measure LDL cholesterol, another critical indicator of cardiovascular risk.
