July 25, 2025 — Data in recent staffing surveys from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists show that vacancy rates for all medical imaging disciplines are above the rates reported in 2020, according to the 2025 ASRT Radiologic Sciences Staffing and Workplace Survey. July 24, 2025 —  Royal Philips has announced a collaboration with Epic to integrate Philips’ suite of cardiac ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics services with Aura, the specialty diagnostics suite of the electronic health record (EHR) company.

This collaboration will offer the broadest cardiac care portfolio of any single service provider integrating with Aura to date. July 21, 2025 — Long COVID patients with abnormal cardiopulmonary PET/MR findings may be more likely to develop heart and lung diseases, according to new research published in the July issue of The Journal of Nuclear Medicine. The study — which included the largest cohort of long COVID subjects with cardiopulmonary symptoms with the longest follow-up duration — suggests that abnormal cardiopulmonary PET/MR should be considered a risk factor for future cardiac and pulmonary disease and that closer monitoring is warranted in these patients.

July 16, 2025 — Medtronic has announced that the first patient has been enrolled in the PEripheral Onyx Liquid Embolic (PELE) clinical trial, which will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Onyx Liquid Embolic System (LES) for embolization of arterial hemorrhage in the peripheral vasculature. The first procedure was performed by Dr. Christopher Stark at Albany Medical Center.
