Dr. Nicholas T. Skipitaris is a New York City-based cardiologist who specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology. As the Director of The Heart Rhythm Center at Lenox Hill Hospital at Northwell Health, he’s affiliated with multiple hospitals and has repeatedly been recognized as a Top Doctor in the area. Recognized as an expert in Clinical Electrophysiology, Dr. Skipitaris actively contributes to medical literature and has participated in both small- and large-scale clinical investigations throughout his career.

Dr. Skipitaris received his medical degree from Brown University, and more recently, an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. For over 20 years, he has been committed to mentoring and teaching medical students, house staff, general cardiology fellows and electrophysiology fellows. He also can be found at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University, as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology. In his free time, Dr. Skipitaris is passionate about prevention of sudden cardiac arrest and bystander CPR / AED use, leading community-based education and screening programs for over 10 years.
