Henry Ford Hospital thought leaders regularly speak at the cardiology conferences about new research and technology innovations. So, it was an honor when DAIC was invited to conduct a site visit at Henry Ford recently to tour its facilities, sit in on procedures and conduct numerous video interviews to better understand the workings of the institution. 


I recently had the opportunity to conduct an onsite visit to the University of Colorado Hospital Heart and Vascular Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo., which is part of UCHealth.

April 2, 2026 — Iterative Health and US Heart & Vascular (USHV) have announced a strategic partnership to advance research through community-based innovation in cardiovascular care.

March 28, 2026-- At ACC.26, Corcept Therapeutics Inc. presented late-breaking data from its MOMENTUM trial examining the prevalence of endogenous hypercortisolism in patients with resistant hypertension . 

March 31, 2026 — The global community of heart rhythm specialists will unite in Paris, April 12-14, 2026, for EHRA 2026, the annual congress of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), a branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).

March 30, 2026 — At ACC.26 in New Orleans, Esperion presented  two post-hoc analyses from CLEAR Outcomes focused on risk of ischemic stroke and risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with autoimmune or inflammatory diseases. These data were presented as moderated poster presentations.

March 28, 2026 — When Ashley Perlow felt a sharp pain shoot across her chest and into both wrists, she didn't think it could be a heart attack. She was 36, a new mom, and otherwise healthy.

At the hospital, blood tests showed signs of a heart attack, but her arteries appeared normal.

March 30, 2026 — Partho Sengupta, MD, DM, FACC, FASE, was honored as a 2026 Distinguished Scientist (Translational Domain) at the national American College of Cardiology (ACC) Conference in New Orleans.

Dr. Sengupta is Chief of Cardiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS). RWJUH is an RWJBarnabas Health facility.
