The software reportedly allows the physician to completely analyze the right ventricle by referring to familiar anatomical structures. This may be accomplished without any experiences in 3D echocardiography.

August 30, 2007 — St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA is the first hospital within the St. Joseph Health System to go live with the Patient Safety Lighting System (PSLS), having recently installed the LED fiber optic lighting system in the patient rooms on the Oncology and Medical Pulmonary units.

August 29, 2007 - The European Society of Cardiology has released new ESC Guidelines for Cardiac Pacing and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy. These new guidelines cover two main areas: The permanent pacing in bradyarrhythmias, syncope and other specific conditions like hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and ventricular resynchronization as an adjunct therapy in patients with heart failure. The guidelines also cover complex devices like pacemakers and cardiac synchronizers.
