November 9, 2015 — The number of angioplasty procedures classified as rarely appropriate declined sharply between 2010 and 2014, as did the number of those performed on patients with non-acute conditions, according to a new study. The study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and simultaneously presented at a meeting of the American Heart Association in Orlando.

This smart apparel can continuously monitor various body signals in mobile application scenarios. The shirt can be worn during daily routine, is washable and features integrated sensors that measure the pulse and respiratory rate simultaneously.

November 5, 2015 — On Oct. 1, 2015, health systems across the country transitioned to the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision – ICD-10. This change will enable providers to capture more details about the health status of their patients to improve patient care and public health surveillance.
