February 19, 2020 — Connectiv, a division of The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA), has announced the finalists for the 66th Annual Jesse H. Neal Awards, which include two Wainscot Media brands — Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology and Imaging Technology NewsIn January, Park Ridge, N.J.-based publisher Wainscot Media acquired DAIC and its sister publication ITN from Scranton Gillette Communications

The Jesse H. Neal Awards are the most prestigious editorial honors in the field of specialized journalism. Named after Jesse H. Neal, the first managing director of Connectiv, the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media. Award-winning content reports on major industry issues of the time. Neal winners have exposed corruption and conflicts of interest and brought attention to major new trends, brilliant leadership, innovative tactics, and key developments in global businesses.

The entries selected as finalists include:

DAIC Editor Dave Fornell photographing technologies in the cath labs at Northwestern Medicine's Central DuPage Hospital. Fornell was named a Neal finalist for best work by a single author the past two years for his coverage of new cardiovascular technology and how it is being implemented in hospitals.
